Anna Butterworth Head of External Relations

Anna defines the ER strategy and manages the ER team and oversees external relationships with external contacts. She also leads the development of communication and engagement plans. 

Anna also assists the CEO, Peter Vicary-Smith in the planning and managing high-level corporate relationships and raising Which?’s profile in the corporate sector and deputises for him where appropriate and leading on designated corporate products.

Alex Ellis External Relations Team Leader

Alex’s role includes defining all ER communication and delivery plans. She is also the lead contact regarding relationships with Which?’s corporate business contacts. 

Another significant part of Alex’s role is the track the development of external business relationships and ensure the ER database is kept updated with key contacts. Alex also co-ordinates internal liaison between the ER department and the organisation.

Where required, Alex also assists Anna Butterworth in producing organisational and promotional material for key Which? spokespeople. Day-to-day, Alex manages the output of the ER team and supervises the running of the Which? Awards and the external promotion and strategic business development of the Best Buy Icon.

Toby Hiles Senior External Relations Account Manager

Toby provides tactical and reactive correspondence to a whole range of issues. Toby is responsible for internal client management in support of key accountabilities and fully administering the Best Buy licensing scheme.

Jack Doyle External Relations Account Manager

Jack is the first point of contact for all companies calling in relation to Financial Services, Technology, Utilities, Service Sector, Which? Holiday, Which? Gardening, Which? Computing and Which? Money. Jack provides tactical and reactive correspondence to external corporates and internal stakeholders. 

Jack’s role involves responding to pre and post publication queries from companies, liaising with companies in support of campaign objectives, investigating copyright and branding infringements and promoting the Best Buy Icon Scheme.
